COMPASS ROSE INTERNATIONAL

Preventing child marriage and trafficking before they happen

Compass Rose International is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on protecting girls from child marriage and trafficking through education and economic development.

Founded in response to the 2015 Nepal earthquake, the organization evolved from crisis awareness into long-term prevention infrastructure.

Compass Rose International exists to protect girls by expanding access to education, strengthening the economic stability of their communities, and helping prevent child trafficking and child marriage before they begin.

OUR MISSION

Children and adults at a celebration or outdoor event, with a girl holding a large pink plush toy or costume animal, smiling and interacting joyfully.

As magnetic beings, there are moments when our internal compass loses its balance. We may feel frightened, isolated, or uncertain about the path we're on. It appears as though things aren't unfolding in our favor. What we often overlook is the inherent power within us. We were born with all the answers already embedded, but somewhere along the way, influenced by conditioning and programming, we deviated from that true direction. The Compass Rose signifies the process of recalibrating back to our True North, which isn't external but resides within. It involves delving inward, aligning with our authentic selves, and embracing the concept of INpowerment.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe Compass Rose programs transform lives, which transforms Community.

In 2015, after the Nepal earthquake, families lost homes, income, and stability.

WHY THIS EXISTS

Girls began disappearing from rural villages.
Many were trafficked across the border.
Some were forced into early marriage.

When families lose everything, girls become the most vulnerable.

Rescue alone would never be enough.

We built a system that makes rescue unnecessary.

MORE THAN A SCHOOL

A Prevention Model for Long-Term Protection

The Girls INpowerment Home is not just a simple school. It is also a residential community designed to remove the conditions that lead to exploitation.
